Vale Michael Carson

Dear DeniseI was deeply saddened to discover that one of my favourite tutors and someone of which I have extremely fond memories, had passed away in May. Michael Carson was an inspiration throughout my weeks at Screenwise and taught me so many valuable lessons. I was taught by him in 2004 and was unaware of his illness at the time. Coming into the first day of class I was so excited that I would be working with the man who directed seachange, one of my all time favourite aussie series and the
trigger for my school girl crush on Diver Dan! In the weeks that followed, Michael always imparted words of wisdom to us with absolute sincerity, passion and dedication. He was a deeply encouraging teacher and always managed to find the best performance within every single class member.
I guess I just wanted to send you an email as I was so thankful to have
had the opportunity to work with Michael and despite the brief association
with him, I was deeply shocked to read this news.
I also wanted to thankyou personally for providing me with the
opportunity to work with such an incredible teacher.
Thankyou. May those up above look after such a kind man.
Smiles, Megan Wynn
