Blockbuster - WOW!
Hi Denise, Where do I start? Lani loved the workshop with Dave so much she has not stopped talking about it. Thank you so much for suggesting it. Dave has left a lasting impression on Lani and she keeps coming out with absolute pearls of wisdom drawn from his words. She nearly filled a whole exercise book with notes she took from his work shop. We watched her audition tape and his advice to Lani was brilliant. He is indeed a talented and amazing Australian. It was also great to see what happens in audition, I have always let Lani be herself and go in by herself as she has always been so independent and I do not want her to feel uncomfortable in front of me. Acting for Beginners
Hey Hels!
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the beginners course. I'd been actively acting for almost a year previous to it in theatre and film and even though I felt my personal standard higher than the norm I got an immeasurable amount out of the course. The basic foundations were taught so well that in just that short time I feel much more confident already. But the biggest part of it was just being able to talk to Phil. Being able to share in his advice and his own experiences was something I would have paid much more for. It's so tough to keep motivated sometimes and being able to chat to an old pro who was passionate and successful for so long has just given me a huge amount fuel for my fire and I'll probably be forever indebted to him for that.
