Hi Denise, I have been meaning to email you for the last week to thank you so much for giving my name to Olivia re the Add for AMI. I got the gig and we film it on the 6th of October!!! Thankyou so much for your ongoing support.. I really value it and think I’m extremely bloody lucky !!!!! The film you put Rob up for .., “Billy” (Rob plays a gay father??...) I got the gig for “Shazza” in the same film!! So I am really pleased.. Also got a small part in “LOVE, PASSION, BEAUTY” feature film…I did get a call back for the major role of LORRAINE but I got pipped at the post it seems … Anyhow again thankyou for your wonderful tuition and support.. The Nothing Men - Feature Film
I asked my good friend Caz Adams, a Screenwise tutor with 20 years voice over experience, if she would be the voice on an answering machine in my feature film ‘The Nothing Men’ staring Colin Friels. Caz had other commitments but suggested one of her students from Screenwise, Liz Thurbon. Liz came to Fox studio prepared like a veteran and her performance reflected this. She listened intently and delivered each time, taking direction well. Once I had a take I was happy with, I asked Liz to give me her own interpretation, and what followed is what is in the film. Liz was not only very professional but also delightful. I wouldn’t hesitate in working with her again. I want to thank both Liz and Screenwise for their contribution to my film. Hi Denise Alex did an audition for Home and Away today and they told him he did a brilliant job. They also commented on how much he had improved since they saw him in January....and wanted to know what training he had done to make such an improvement!....well, its only been the wonderful tutors at screenwise!!! So, thank you for making such a difference to Alex's acting ability that Mullinars commented on it!! I'm sure Alex will be keen to attend more workshops with you guys!! Cheers

Hi Denise, Just a quick email to let you know Lani is unable to attend Screenteens this term as she was successful in auditioning for a stage production called Rock Café which will be directed by Tyran Parke. This will take up most weekends in the next term as they rehearse in 5 hour blocks. Her Screenwise training is still helping her book jobs….She has also been very busy, auditioning once again for Maura Fay casting for a Kmart TVC (not sure of outcome), and lastly was requested by Beyond Productions in the JUDI BUENOANO story to play the role of KIMBERLY GOODYEAR in the TV series Deadly Women 2 which she will film this coming week, this is the second time she has been booked from the one audition tape she did for them so it is very exciting for her,

Hi Denise, Thanks to yourself and Reka for passing my details on to Rommel (producer) for the short film late last week. I was cast, along with Cassie, and spent a whirlwind weekend on learning lines/filming and wrapped final scenes last night. Apparantly it will be screened at some point with a couple of other shorts at the Chauvel in Paddington...the big screen! See you tomorrow, x Fe.
