I just got a role on MTV's new show The Lair (that Darren is presenting) as a character presenter. I play a groupie who thinks she's down with what's going on in the music world but really know's nothing more than whose the best pash.
Also very close to securing that Telstra gig you suggested me for. Thanks for thinking of me. I've got one more call back, next Mon. (Have had 2 so far). And looking forward to starting on Home and Away late Feb.

The Nothing Men - Feature Film
I asked my good friend Caz Adams, a Screenwise tutor with 20 years voice over experience, if she would be the voice on an answering machine in my feature film ‘The Nothing Men’ staring Colin Friels. Caz had other commitments but suggested one of her students from Screenwise, Liz Thurbon. Liz came to Fox studio prepared like a veteran and her performance reflected this. She listened intently and delivered each time, taking direction well. Once I had a take I was happy with, I asked Liz to give me her own interpretation, and what followed is what is in the film. Liz was not only very professional but also delightful. I wouldn’t hesitate in working with her again. I want to thank both Liz and Screenwise for their contribution to my film. Hi Denise Alex did an audition for Home and Away today and they told him he did a brilliant job. They also commented on how much he had improved since they saw him in January....and wanted to know what training he had done to make such an improvement!....well, its only been the wonderful tutors at screenwise!!! So, thank you for making such a difference to Alex's acting ability that Mullinars commented on it!! I'm sure Alex will be keen to attend more workshops with you guys!! Cheers
