Screenteens Course Information

If you're not having fun...you're not doing it right!

SCREENWISE SCREENTEENS is the hip happening Film & TV training school for young adult actors between 12yrs and 16yrs who want to make a serious move in to the Film & TV industry.

For two hours on a Saturday or a Monday, come work with the professionals that can make your training mean something.SCREENTEENS TUTORS are all professionala actors with vast Industry experience such as Actor/Director Denise Roberts (Razzle Dazzle, Headland, Always Greener), Sam Atwell, (Director of Home & Away), Victoria Longley (Wild Side, STC), Dave Newman (Casting Consultant), Malcolm Frawley (writer/actor), Terry Serio (Actor/Director).

SCREENTEENS student photos are kept on file and presented to Casting Consultants for consideration whenever there is a Film or TV series being cast, many of our SCREENTEENS have auditioned and appeared in some of Australia's leading film and TV series such as Home and Away, All Saints, The December Boys, H2O and Blue Water High.

Courses run during school terms, on Sat mornings from 9.30am – 11.30am and during the last term of the year, Screenteen students write and produce their own project which is then given to them on a DVD.

Thanks to referrals from Screenwise, many of our students are now represented by some of Sydney's top Acting Agencies.


Screenteens fees for each term are $440.00 (incl. GST). Classes are boutique style and places are strictly limited.

This fun filled program gives students an introduction into presenting for Children, Lifestyle, Infotainment, Travel, Vox Pops and Interview

Learn to use the Presenter's NECESSARY SKILLS and explore:-
Short term memory, Acting as reacting, Circle of concentration, One to one communication, Doing it for the cameraman, Walking and talking, Hitting the mark, Finding the light, Finding the camera, Being prepared, Being spontaneous, Being spontaneous twelve times in a row, Stamina, Presenting YOU, Voice and body, Relaxation, Energy, Discipline, Writing your own copy, Improvising, Taking direction, Working as a team.

Should you wish to record your work in progress please bring a recordable blank DVD-R to class.
