2 Year Intensive Course Information The Screenwise 2 YEAR INTENSIVE Program is for clients who wish to participate in the INDUSTRY SHOWCASE.  Providing students with the invaluable opportunity to meet and have one's work viewed on stage and on the big screen by, Agents, Casting Consultants, Directors and other industry professionals. This involves progressing through the various stages of the course and achieving a satisfactory profficiency in one's craft. Entry is by Audition only.  Auditions are held once each year and only 24 students are accepted.  

Audition Requirements:  
  • Prepared Film/TV monologue 1-2 minutes in length (applicants choice)
  • Prepared Film/TV scene (Screenwise choice)                               

The Screenwise 2 YEAR INTENSIVE consists of:- 

Two classes per week, 3 to 4 hours each in duration over eight 10 week terms. Screenwise is affiliated with the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and Screenwise students may be required to work closely with the AFTRS directing and cinematography students while attending this course. Students are also required to accept work experience in post syncing and ADR and to attend audtions for Short Films that have come through Screenwise.

All Screenwise tutors contracted for this course are current prominent industry working professional Actors, Directors and Casting Consultants and it is due to these tutors and their industry expertise, authority, and the fact that Screenwise Students are exposed to them on an intimately regular basis providing rare networking opportunities, is why Screenwise has become Australia's leading film and television school for actors.
